Hammy Home 1.5.0 is now live! This update adds a whole clothing system, new houses, a large cage, cage backs, a custom color picker, and UI changes that make it much smoother on mobile.

Clothing

You can now dress up your hamsters! The new clothing system includes:

  • Hats, shirts, onesies, and bows
  • Emoji and A–Z letter prints you can add to shirts, onesies, and hats
  • Patterns for clothing items

New Houses

  • Three new themed houses: Mushroom, Strawberry, and Pineapple

Cages

  • A new large cage, twice the size of the biggest one before, so your hamsters have more room to roam
  • Cage backs: Add a back to individual cages and give it a pattern in any color you choose. Before, you could only customize the background wall as a whole.
  • A new starter home, Starter 5, a two-level setup featuring all three new houses

Bedding

  • Bedding now uses two colors, so you can pick the fleck color separately instead of getting a fixed shade of the base color.
  • New handles on the bedding make it easier to see how to raise or lower the bedding height.

Lighting & Speed Controls

  • A dimmer slider to adjust cage lighting
  • A time-of-day button at the top of the dimmer slider that matches the lighting to the actual time of day
  • A speed slider to adjust simulation speed

Color Picker & UI

  • A new custom color picker for choosing exact colors for items, patterns, and bedding
  • A reworked layout that looks and feels much better on smaller screens and mobile devices
  • Plus a bunch of small bug fixes and UI cleanup

In Case You Missed It

Version 1.4.0 added the ability to name your hamsters. Now you can give them names and dress them up!
